Jimmy Earl Wingate passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Southeast Health. He was 49 years old.

Jimmy was born on June 18, 1977, to Janice Carol Baxter and the late Johnny Will Wingate. He was a loving father and brother who will be remembered for the time he spent with the people he loved most.

Jimmy had a love for monster trucks and took pride in his work painting cars. He also enjoyed fishing and watching football. Above all, Jimmy cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, making memories that they will carry with them for years to come.

In addition to his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Wingate.

Those left to cherish his memory include his three daughters, Liddy Wingate (Noah Boykin), Cheyenne Wingate, and Emma Wingate; three grandchildren, Keanan Boykin, Koen Boykin, and Kasen Boykin; his mother, Janice Hendrix; five siblings, Kathy Wingate, Susie Rhodes, Jessica Kinsey, Jennifer Snead, and Dee White; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Amber Smith.

Jimmy will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
